Description

Las Piedras is a beautiful rural hotel in Malaga, Andalucia which you can rent in its entirety for your large family or friend group. All bedrooms , bathrooms, gardens and communal areas are wheelchair accessible. There are 5 spacious bedrooms all with adapted en-suite bathrooms with roll-in showers, some of thes are family rooms and the hotel will sleep up to 16 people. You also have the opportunity to add on La Casita, a small partially accessible cottage in the grounds or La Maroma Apartment for more space and bedrooms.
Inlcuded in the rental are the pool (with heating option and hoist), bar/dining/lounge area, terraces, ping-pong table and the industrial kitchen.
Also included are the stunning mountain views!

The Axarquia (Eastern Costa del Sol) is a fascinating region, just an hour away from Malaga Airport it offers a more tranquil, less developed alternative to the Costa del Sol proper. The region boasts pretty villages, national parks and beaches and the fascinating cities of Malaga, Granada and Cordoba are all within striking distance. Las Piedras is in the Alcaucin valley and has stunning views of the countryside and the breathtaking Maroma mountain opposite. The villages of Puente Don Manuel and Alcaucin are 5 miles away. They have bars, shops & restaurants. Alcaucin is a typical Andalusian white village. The coast is just a 25 minute drive away. Malaga airport is an hours drive. We can provide airport transfers by accessible vehicle.

Beautiful hidden treasure

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend who since finding the hotel 4 years ago has revisited annually! I was so pleased to find such a wonderful hidden treasure. We had wanted to have a big family holiday for years but as my grand father is in a wheel chair, we never thought it would be possible. Not only is the hotel idyllic with wonderful and friendly staff, it is completely accessible and everything has been considered from the perspective of a wheelchair user (lower light switches, very wide doors, ramps, hoists). It was important to find somewhere with these facilities that didn't feel like an institution and that all the family could enjoy. The owners even recommended insurance companies suitable for my grandfather. Food was gorgeous and the service unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, with or without disabilities.
