Nearby accessible tourist attractions include Portpatrick, a picturesque harbour with stunning views, outside eating areas and tea rooms, the RSPB centre and the local swimming pool, which has great disabled facilities; on Wednesday mornings there is a special hour for the disabled and on Fridays at the sports hall, there is a free sports hour for the disabled, where they design a personal program around your needs.
