Disabled access B&B in Sintra, Portugal with facilities for the disabled wheelchair user

For a truly great holiday in Sintra, Portugal that is wheelchair accessible, Quinta Do Scoto is perfect. A beautiful, spacious Manor House, this B&B has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Visitors who have been to Quinta Do Scoto have said that they really enjoyed their holiday and the hosts were extremely friendly. Rick and Helen, who stayed at the B&B in June 2009 said: “What lovely people and accommodation. The suite was great and furnished to a really high standard by far the biggest room we have ever stayed in. Wheelchair access was good and the family made us really welcome.”

Local accessible tourist attractions in the area of Sintra include cable cars with wheelchair access at the Parque de Nacional, the Oceanarium, Cascais, a lovely flat area near the beach and the Pria Grande promenade. There is also the village of Aljustrel nearby with a paved walk through the fields to a number of beautiful shrines. A very peaceful and serene area.

Quinta do Scoto is a very different concept in Bed & Breakfast with spacious suites set around a pool and sun terrace or in the Manor House and has a long historic past. Built in 1746 to a traditional Portuguese style the Manor House and Celeiro are furnished with antique furniture. Accommodation comrises of 8 suites, each sleeping up to 6, with en suite bathrooms, some with additional sitting rooms. One of the suites in the Celeiro has been fitted out with disability facilities.
