A Fantastic Family Holiday

"Simply wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable way to experience this region. It has something for everyone and we all enjoyed new experiences. My son had a great time, playing at the farm and swimming whenever he wanted. He tried lots of new foods and especially enjoyed the continental style breakfast. I had the opportunity to visit the American Cemetery and found the burial site of one of my relatives. It was a very moving experience. We have told all our friends." Looking forward to our 4th holiday

This accommodation is great for us as we have a disabled son who is confined to a wheelchair and needs the space to get around. Gite le Fournil provides this and is very spacious. The gardens are also fully accessible for the wheelchair, as is the shower (just like at home). Being able to hire a hoist and a shower chair is very important for our son's comfort. We are looking forward to our next holiday at Domaine de la Hamberie in 2010 and revisiting Falaise with its castle and many restaurants. Most are wheelchair accessible and the owners are happy to help if needed. Many thanks for your help during our previous 3 visits.
